SEATINI Uganda is a leading Pan-African Research and Advocacy NGO that works to promote pro-development trade, fiscal, and investment-related policies and practices for the realization of sustained equitable development and improved livelihoods at the national, regional and global levels.

We Envision; “A Strong and Confident Africa in World Trade,” and our mission is “To strengthen stakeholders’ capacity to influence trade, fiscal and investment related policies and processes for sustained equitable development and improved livelihoods in Uganda and the East African region.”

Over the years, SEATINI Uganda has been implementing the Graduate Trainee and Internship Program to contribute to shaping the new generation of critical thinkers, policy analysts and social justice champions.

Overall Objective of the Graduate Trainee Program 

• Cultivate a new generation of critical thinkers, policy analysts, researchers, and leaders, offering exposure and opportunities to contribute to the quest for social justice; ‘‘Haki Ya Jamii’’.
• Participants will engage in research, policy analysis, and advocacy, applying academic knowledge in practical settings.
