WATCH AND DISCOVER WHAT WE DO

The East African Community (EAC) was established as part of the broader African liberation process, aimed at reconnecting African people, economies, and institutions that were fragmented during the colonial era and fostering political, economic, and cultural integration.-Hon.

Debt should be viewed as a development tool when directed towards productive investments such as infrastructure, energy systems, industrialisation, trade corridors, and digital transformation, rather than financing consumption.-Mr. Herbert Kafeero, Deputy Executive Director,

Fiscal constraints persist across EAC Partner States, with tax-to-GDP ratios remaining low at between 11% and 15%, while debt servicing and public wage bills continue to consume a significant share of national revenues. -Mr. Herbert Kafeero, Deputy Executive Director, SEATINI

Thanks to SEATINI Uganda

I finally got my products certified by Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) after struggling for a long time. I had many uncertainties about the certification process, but Mr. Hakim Mufumbiro from UNBS, who presented at a meeting organized by SEATINI Uganda, clarified everything for me. I paid for the certification, underwent an audit, and a sample of my product was tested, with satisfactory results. I received the UNBS certificate through the help of SEATINI Uganda, and I am grateful. It’s essential that women in business have access to the information they need, and I hope key players can make that happen.
